Oscar Taveras Dies In Car Accident — Cardinals outfielder Oscar Taveras has died in a car accident in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, Dionisio Soldevila of ESPNDeportes confirms (via Twitter). Taveras' girlfriend, 18-year-old Edilia Arvelo, also reportedly passed away.
