Brewers Claim Cesar Jimenez  —  12:59pm: Philadelphia has announced that the Brewers have claimed Jimenez.  —  12:43pm: The Brewers have claimed left-handed reliever Cesar Jimenez off outright waivers from the Phillies, MLBTR has learned (Twitter link).  Jimenez was designated for assignment by Philadelphia last night.

Carrasco Strikes Out 11, Indians Beat Yankees Once Again  —  NEW YORK — Carlos Carrasco struck out 11, Carlos Santana homered and the Cleveland Indians stopped the New York Yankees once again, beating the AL East leaders 7-3 Friday night.  —  The last-place Indians improved to 4-1 against New York this year.

Santana Homers as Brewers Beat Struggling Nationals 10-3  —  WASHINGTON — Domingo Santana homered in his Milwaukee debut and the the Brewers took advantage of several defensive miscues in a 10-3 victory over the struggling Washington Nationals on Friday night.
