Tigers Acquire Francisco Rodriguez  —  The Tigers have officially acquired reliever Francisco Rodriguez from the Brewers, as first reported by Venezuelan journalist Augusto Cardenas (via Twitter).  Infielder Javier Betancourt will head to Milwaukee in the swap.

Syndergaard finishes fourth in NL Rookie of the Year voting  —  Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard finished fourth in the National League Rookie of the Year voting, the league announced Monday.  —  Syndergaard made his debut in May and finished the regular season with 9-7 with a 3.24 ERA and 166 strikeouts in 150 innings.
