Jose Reyes to return to original MLB team in deal with Mets, per source  —  ATLANTA — Shortly after Jose Reyes becomes a free agent at 1 p.m. ET Saturday, the New York Mets are expected to sign the 33-year-old shortstop, according to ESPN and multiple reports.

Mets To Promote Brandon Nimmo, Will Option Michael Conforto  —  The Mets will promote outfield prospect Brandon Nimmo, Jeremiah Johnke of the Wyoming Tribune Eagle (Nimmo's hometown paper) tweets.  He will take the roster spot of Michael Conforto, who will be optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas, as MLB.com's Anthony DiComo tweets.
