Breaking news: Surgery for Wang  —  Chien-Ming Wang needs season-ending shoulder surgery It'll be tomorrow morning  —  More to come.  —  UPDATE, 10:49 p.m.: Wang needs a tear in his capsule repaired, apparently.  The capsule is the soft-tissue membrane.  Typically, the capsule is tightened in surgery.
