Umpires ratify labor agreement  —  Five-year deal with MLB lasts through end of 2014  —  SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Members of the World Umpires Association voted late Monday night to ratify a new five-year contract with Major League Baseball that will extend to Dec. 31, 2014.
