Yankees, Derek Jeter Finalize Contract  —  The Yankees and Derek Jeter have dotted the Is and crossed the Ts on a three-year deal, reports Jack Curry of the YES Network (via Twitter).  —  Under the deal, Jeter will make $51MM across the first three seasons with a $8MM player option for the fourth year, Curry tweets.

Padres, Red Sox agree on Adrian Gonzalez trade  —  UPDATE: According to Sean McAdam of CSNNE.com, Adrian Gonzalez has already completed a physical with the Red Sox.  McAdam was told that Gonzalez's surgically-repaired right shoulder “should be just fine,” but that there are “minor tests” that still need to be completed.

Gonzalez passes his physical; clock now ticks on getting a deal done  —  A team source said that Adrian Gonzalez passed his physical at Mass General today.  —  Now, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, the sides have until 2 p.m. tomorrow (ET) to come to an agreement on a contract.
