Cleveland Indians, Carlos Santana agree to 5-year $21 million contract extension  —  CLEVELAND, Ohio — Catcher Carlos Santana has reached a five-year $21 million agreement on a contract extension with the Indians.  The team will hold a press conference at 2:30 p.m,. to announce the deal.

More on Ian Kinsler's new contract with Rangers  —  The Rangers and second baseman Ian Kinsler have come to an agreement on a five-year contract worth $75 million that will take effect in 2013.  There is an option for a sixth year worth $10 million that can vest to $12 million.  The buyout is $5 million.
