Yankees Sign Chase Headley To 4-Year, $52 Million Deal  —  NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Chase Headley is staying with the Yankees, a sign New York is not counting on Alex Rodriguez to play third base regularly.  —  Headley and the Yankees have agreed on a $52 million, four-year contract.

Blue Jays to receive compensatory pick for Cabrera  —  TORONTO - Melky Cabrera's split from the Toronto Blue Jays, essentially decided when the team signed Russ Martin and traded for Michael Saunders, was finalized Sunday when the left-fielder reportedly reached agreement with the Chicago White Sox on a $42-million, three-year deal.
