Matt Harvey Backs Proposed 180-Inning Limit  —  Yesterday, it was reported that there was friction between Matt Harvey's agent Scott Boras and the Mets over the Mets' plans for handling Harvey down the stretch.  Boras wanted the Mets to keep Harvey, who had Tommy John surgery following the 2013 season, on a 180-inning limit.

Arrieta Leads Cubs Past D-Backs, 2-0  —  CHICAGO — Jake Arrieta pitched eight innings of four-hit ball for his major league-best 18th win, and the Chicago Cubs beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 2-0 on Saturday.  —  Arrieta also struck out seven in his first start since he threw his first career no-hitter against the Dodgers last Sunday.

Price Earns 100th Career Win, Bautista HR, Blue Jays Top O's  —  TORONTO — David Price earned his 100th career victory, Jose Bautista hit his 32nd home run of the season and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Baltimore Orioles 5-1 on Saturday.  —  The AL East-leading Blue Jays bounced back from a 10-2 loss to Baltimore on Friday night.

White Sox Claim Mike Olt From Cubs  —  The White Sox have claimed Mike Olt from the Cubs, MLB.com's Carrie Muskat tweets.  The Cubs designated Olt for assignment last week when they acquired outfielder Austin Jackson.  They originally acquired Olt from the Rangers when they sent Matt Garza to Texas in 2013.

Herrera HR in 8th, Brewers Beat Reds in Day-Night Opener  —  CINCINNATI — Elian Herrera hit a tiebreaking home run on reliever J.J. Hoover's first pitch of the eighth inning, sending the Milwaukee Brewers over the Cincinnati Reds 8-6 Saturday in the first game of a day-night doubleheader.

Dodgers' Yasiel Puig could remain sidelined for rest of regular season  —  Yasiel Puig might not play again in the regular season, Manager Don Mattingly acknowledged Friday.  —  Puig was placed on the disabled list last week with a strained right hamstring.  He is rehabilitating at the Dodgers' spring-training complex in Arizona.

Danks Goes the Distance as White Sox Beat Royals 12-1  —  KANSAS CITY, Mo. — John Danks threw a seven-hitter and Adam Eaton matched his career high with four hits, including a three-run homer, as the Chicago White Sox beat the Kansas City Royals 12-1 Friday night.

Kelly Wins 7th Straight Start; Red Sox Beat Phillies 7-5  —  BOSTON — Jackie Bradley Jr. hit a solo homer and David Ortiz an RBI double in Boston's four-run seventh inning as Joe Kelly won his seventh straight start and the Red Sox beat the Philadelphia Phillies 7-5 Friday night.

McHugh, Conger Lead Houston to 8-0 Win Over Twins  —  HOUSTON — Collin McHugh went 7 2-3 innings and Hank Conger hit a grand slam as the Houston Astros beat the Minnesota Twins 8-0 on Friday night.  —  McHugh (15-7) gave up seven hits and struck out six in picking up his second straight win.
