Mets agree to big league deal with OF Melendez (source)  —  Outfielder MJ Melendez and the Mets have agreed to a one-year deal pending a physical, a source told MLB.com's Anthony DiComo on Sunday.  The contract is worth $1.5 million plus $500,000 in incentives, according to MLB Network insider Jon Heyman.
